Fox Wife Mini-Comic Collection by Batta

Some time ago I said I wanted to continue translating the works of Batta from Canzume Quality, an up and coming manga artist who likes kitsunemimi a lot. Like everything else, that's going rather slow, but I did just quickly translate a short work he just released for free online on his Pixiv booth (plus a couple of other images related to said work, which are available on his Pixiv).

The work is Batta's Kitsune Wife Mini-Comic, a brief intro to an idea he's been working on for awhile about a Fox  girl who marries a human man, and their life (and children) together. The mini-comic its self is safe for work, but then it goes into the couple's love life and child-creation together (which of course is not safe for work).

I thought it all was cute enough, so I went and translated all of it to English and put it together as much I could with the GIMP. If you're so inclined, feel free to download it here:

(Mini Comic: Safe for work
Conception - R18 folder: Not safe for work
Progression folder: Safe for work, but awkward)

If you're into kitsunemimi and schoolgirls with swords, check out and support more of Bata's stuff on Pixiv and elsewhere:

In other news, I am continuing to work on everything I'd been working on before, with more dedicated effort than before. I hope people have enjoyed Hazuki's route in Haramiko, though I unfortunately do not know when Uzuki and the Harem route might be done. I also must apologize to anyone and everyone that has asked about commission work, as I cannot yet guarantee the time (or quality) to do any. Shit sux:C

In the meantime, if you feel I have done work worthy of support and would like to support Loe Quality Translations, donations are welcome and would certainly help

I thank you all for your support, reading, and patience so far. It'd be cool if I could reward that patience more often and with more content...

Haramiko: Hazuki Route 100% Translated Route | Beta

After entirely too long (as usual), I am proud to present the 100% translation patch for Hazuki's route for the Haramiko vn, by Swanmania. This fully translates ALL of the common route and ALL of Hazuki's route for the game into English (Uzuki and the harem route to be translated later). I am happy to say that the translation is more revised than the Harapara and Maman translations, but computer problems lead me to write the translation across multiple computers and keyboards, so occasional typos and misses might have occurred. I'll revise them for the 100% patch, coming out ______.

Haramiko is the story of one Akira Yamanabe, a young man journeying across Japan. By chance, he happens across an old Shinto shrine, ran by two shrine maiden sisters, Hazuki Kagura and Uzuki Kagura. Through interesting events, Akira manages to get himself possessed by some strange spirit, and hi jinks ensue of the usual Swan variety. Content is true love, love comedy, and vanilla. I'm a sap for true love.

Download the patch here:
https://www.mediafire.com/?3uatab0gc8cnlnn

To install:
1. Have Haramiko installed on your PC properly.
2.Have 7zip installed on your pc properly.
3.Download the patch from the link above.
4.Open the patch file with 7zip, and extract all its contents directly into Haramiko's install folder.
5. Delete every file in the Haramiko savedata folder (old save files will not work once the patch is installed anyway).
6. Run the game.

Hazuki is actually one of my favorite Swan heroines, second or equal to Ayana Seno from HaraKano. Though I am sad she and her sister do not have as many character portraits in their game as other Swan heroines do, she and Uzuki do make a guest appearance in the story for Haratsuma Nurse (which Onaji-Sora Translations is still working on?). I hope you all enjoy her story as much as I do, and maybe even people might do fanart or something (having an eroge waifu is content-less suffering).

Meanwhile, life goes on, projects continue, and donations are still welcome if you feel so inclined. They do help, as life is expensive.

Thank you all for your patience and your support,

LQT.

For the Record,

I am not dead yet, just unfortunately buried under schoolwork and a JET application. HaraMiko is progressing, along with two other works which I hope to turn into three and have partial releases for come Thanksgiving (it'd be come this weekend were it not for Uni projects).

My apologies, as usual, for the delay, though I hope to provide each of these releases with better quality and writing than Mamankyoushitsu had (which was, of course, completely unrevised as of its release).

I thank you all for your patience and support...were it only I had more to give you for it.

Thank you again, and feel free to watch the Loe Quality Twitter page for very infrequent updates, though still more frequent than the official blog its self.

Not the release I'd been hoping for.

EDIT: Updated dl link

While on the twitter, I mentioned that I had hoped to have at least the Hazuki Kagura Route done and uploaded by the end of this week for Haramiko, numerous problems regarding my current housing situation (and lack thereof) have caused it to be delayed. I have not been completely inactive though, I do have something for people to check out if they're interested. Onaji Sora Translations (the ones working on Haramin) recently released a beta patch for the game so you can check the quality of the translation and give an opinion. After seeing some of the comments for the unrevised Mamankyoushitsu translation patch, I think that'll probably be a good idea for me to try, too. While the Haramiko common route is already done, I'd rather not release that without at least one full route done as well, considering how short the game is.

As such, I have the first part of the HaraKano translation here, for anyone who currently has the game (and the time) to give their opinion on regarding its quality. Plot wise, it is just the introduction to all of the characters and day one of the story, but it is an accurate translation (this time; no April Fools), it has been fully revised for comprehension, and it does give you an idea of each character's personality. If you want to be a beta reader for HaraKano English, please download this archive and extract the files into the HaraKano install folder (exactly like you do all the other translation patches) and see if you like how it reads

English Patch on Mediafire

I apologize it's not more, but things are going on. At least let this show that the project is not dead, nor merely an April Fools joke.

Unrelatedly, great thanks to everyone who donated to LQT these past few weeks; I had received a desktop from some friends to replace the dead and dying LQT laptops, and with aid from the LQT readers and other friends, that desktop is now fully operational.

Meanwhile, Onaji Sora No Shita De Translations is continuing work on HaraMin and HaraTsumaNurse - http://onajisoranoshitade-tl.blogspot.com/

And a new(?) group, Crying Translation, is working on translations of various Swan, Norn, and other games - https://cryingtranslation.wordpress.com/

I am working on translating Kiitarou Shounen no Youkai Enikki but I think I want to get a better typesetter than myself before I release it, since I am not good enough with Gimp to make the translation look good on the pages. Personally, I'm just glad to be working on something non-hentai

Again, I thank all of you for reading, donating, commenting, and supporting, and apologize that I've had so little to give in return. Hopefully that may change soon, but things look not fun :C

The State and Status of Things

Some people have been wondering the current status and menu of Loe Quality Translations, and it seems now might be a better time to update than later.

For the record, Loe Quality Translation's blog has just quite recently broke the 100,000 unique views mark! Over 100,000 people worldwide have viewed (and presumably downloaded) from this blog over it's two year history. People from US, Canada, Russia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, Britain, and other countries (no sign of any views from Japan, but maybe that's for the best); a truly international audiance. Hooray!

As if in commemeration of that, the laptop that Loe Quality Translations operates via has just recently started making these odd clacking noises. Hoora- wait, what?

I hear from various tech savvy friends that this clacking sound is neither natural nor a good thing, and that the harddrive may die. It's not the only problem (overheating and powerfailures are others), but it is certainly the most pressing. The laptop is dying, and it is hard to work on any sort of project without the necessary computing.

Fortunately, I have recently been sent an old desktop that, though old, is still in better condition than the laptop. Unfortunately, it is not entirely complete. among the things it is missing: a hard drive, cooling fans, a graphics card not on its deathbed, and speakers. These things aren't hard to acquire, but very unfortunately, they are costly to acquire, and my budget for the summer was not designed for this.

It is with deep regret that I must actually ask people to help me afford these things. I appreciate the donations that I have recieved thus far (all forty one dollars and fifty cents worth over the course of these past two years) but it isn't enough to cover these costs. I have to ask people to please donate to Loe Quality Translations.

"But why should I do that?" you may ask? Well, in addition to having already provided the translation of Mamankyoushitsu at a comprehensible, if not enjoyable, level of english alongside the two one shot manga uploads and 3/5ths of HaraPara, you will be helping to ensure the continuation and eventual completion of three definite projects, and hopefully the beginning of some new ones. I had wanted to wait to announce these, but the clacking of the hard drive makes me concerned that if the laptop shuts off, it might not turn on again, so here you go.

The Definite Projects:

Non-ero
Kiitarou no Shounen Enikki: An interesting manga series, regarding a young-boy and his dealings with various youkai that live around the shack he now finds himself living in. I've started on volume one, though could use a typesetter more professional than myself, if anyone might be interested and available.

Ero
HaraKano: I released the joke patch before, but this time I'm working on the actual thing. It'd be Marina Tachibana, Kaho Tachibana, Ayana Seno, and Ren Fujino routes + after stories for sure. I am currently almost halfway through part 1 of the common route (it has three parts) so it will be sometime, but HaraKano is much longer that Mamankyoushitsu (with much less erotic content) so that may be expected.

Haramiko: A short Swanmania titled released just a month after Harakano featuring two miko sisters and their relation with the wandering Akira. A nice little love story, it should be done much sooner than anything else (as it is much shorter).

These three are projects that I am definitely currently working on, much the same as Mamankyoushitsu was. As for the non-definite projects that I merely hope to begin if I can get the proper support

The Non-Definite Projects:

Tsujidou-san no Junai Road: This is a vn by Minato-Carnival, sharing the same setting as the famous and infamous Majikoi series. I have this title and would like to work on it, yet the reason it is a non-definite project is because, unlike the Swan games, I do not have access to the script files of the game's story, nor a means to extract them or repack them. If you are an anonymous that could aid with that, feel free to contact me.

Sakura Wars: I got the Sakura Wars game that was localized by NIS America. I enjoyed the hell out of it, and really wanted to try out the other titles in the series. Unfortunately, there has never been much of an effort to make a fan-translation of it like other Japan-only titles have gotten (Valkyria Chronicles 3, the unreleased Ace Attourney game, Princess Maker 5?). If anyone has the programming know how to modify the PC version of Sakura Wars 1, or the PSP remake of Sakura Wars 1 and 2, I would be willing to give whatever translation skill I have towards it. The odds of anyone like that existing are slim however, hence why this is a non-definite project.

So there you have it. Those are my plans for the future of Loe Quality Translations. I cannot give a date on any of them, and so many of them require the aid of other people, yet right now LQT needs aid in general. If you are interested in seeing any of these projects come to be, feel free to donate via paypal. I went through all of Mamankyoushitsu (it took awhile, but it was done) so I would like to think you can trust me to actually work on these projects that I have said I will, though I know people have been burned before. In the meantime I'll continue working on the three for however long this computer will last and hoping that some team will contact me regarding the latter two. I'm now backing up my work daily, but that doesn't mean anything if I don't have any device that can continue the projects (or a home, but that's another matter).

I thank you for all your support so far; it's really cool to have 100,000+ views. Shout out to Fuwanovel and Erogedownload for uploading my work as well, so more can enjoy it. It'd be cool if you could give definite credit though. (Speaking of: thank you again to Bonzaimonkey for making the Swan patches that I and Onaji-Sora Translations have been using. Wouldn't be possible without you.)

.
..
...
Speaking of Minato-Carnival, I have been approached repeatedly by people asking my to begin/finish/aid the Minato-soft projects. Specifically the Majikoi and Majikoi-A translation. However, as cool as that would be, I am hesitant to work on any project another group has already put so much effort into, without their actual go-ahead. As dead as Wairu might be, they have not officially given up the ghost, so it would be bad form for me to try and step in (especially when I haven't even read or watched any of the related material yet, though all the Majikoi heroines seem hella awesome from what I've seen). I once contacted Pun-kun myself, and he sent me part of Chris's A-route to translate as a test (which kind of supports the theory that Wairu ISN'T dead), but as I went through it, my lack of familiarity with the series showed and it became increasingly obvious I would have to learn the initial story better before I could hope to translate the sequel story properly and with the detail the fans deserve. Until I have done this (the other projects and real life have unfortunately gotten in the way), I will refrain from getting people's hopes up by joining or starting any official translation effort.

Not dead, nope.

Three new projects currently underway, though not enough progress in any of them to make it worth mentioning what they are and get people's hopes up. Depending on how much time I can devote to each, there might be updates/releases soon, but well, the future is a mystery.

...And the past is history.

Right now though, is a gift...

...which is why we call it the present. :B

A New Challanger has Arrived!

On the twitter , I mentioned that an interested anon had asked about the chance of translating Swaneye's HAraMin game. Though I had no plans for it, thanks to BonzaiMonkey, there was a patch for it which I provided to said Anon, as they wanted to try their hand at translating it. Skip ahead a couple months, and said Anon has posted an initial patch of the game, available from their new translation blog at:

http://onajisoranoshitade-tl.blogspot.com/

I am not sure of how much is translated, the style it's translated in, or anything else as I have had no involvement with this project beyond instruction of how to work BonzaiMonkey's patch. Meanwhile, this is their first time working with a Swaneye game, with the kirikiri engine, with doing translations at all, and more so please bear that in mind as you download and read their work. Personally, I wish John Henry and Onaji Sora No Shita De Translations the best of luck, and the best preserverence; Swaneye text isn't always the most interesting to translate. Good luck!

Please note that for legal reasons neither LQT nor OSnSD can provide downloads of any of the games we translate, so please search elsewhere to acquire the games.

Dropbox file limit.

So a user was kind enough to inform me that dropbox seems to have taken down the account hosting the patch files temporarily, due to too much traffic. Whelp; didn't see that one coming. If you are have attempted to download the patch for Mamankyoushitsu or HaraPara from this blog, but encountered that error, I'm uploading the patches for both games to Googledrive for download instead. My apologies for the inconvenience; I hadn't expecte such small files would go over any sort of download limit on dropbox.

To download, simply open the links for the respective games below, go to File, then Download. To install, follow the same instructions as usual.

Mamankyoushitsu 100% English patch (unrevised):

HaraPara Partial English Patch (Toua, Kukuri, Inori, Natsuki Route, unrevised):
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_IGMMmG5IrTMnlQeDRETlVzaGc/

Thank you to Kai Knoemd for pointing this problem out to me. Side note: could anyone help figure out what's preventing HaraPara from working on his/her install? It's in the comments for the latest HaraPara patch, and I'm at a loss why it doesn't seem to work for them:

http://loequality.blogspot.com/2014/02/harapara-harachuchu-100-english-patch.html (scroll down).

Meanwhile, LQT is getting closer and closer to 100,000 pageviews. I feel I should do something special for that.

Also

It's been brought to my attention that the paypal donation button I have on the donation page didn't actually work and/or just brought people to the main paypal website. I think I've corrected it, so if anyone wanted or wants to donate to LQT for the translations and work done as so far, it should be set up properly now.

I've already started work on other projects, but I'm not going to post about them here or now, so let me use this space to go into a bit of detail on the Mamankyoushitsu translation. Some anons were wondering how it was done and the way it was translated.

For the record, I did not create the patch for Mamankyoushitsu, HaraPara, or even the patch of April Fool's HaraKano. All credit for that goes to Bonzaimonkey. He created the game patch and extracted the game scripts, which I was able to then translate and put into the game. Without his (her?) effort, none of this would be possible, and my translation would be limited to a google document of all the dialogue, which is not nearly as easy to read. for those that have asked, unfortunately he has informed me he is currently busy with other tasks and unavailable to help with other translation projects.

Regarding the quality of my translation, as many have noticed, it does vary greatly from one route to another. This is because all the routes were translated at different times, and depending on when I did the translation, I had different ideas about how I did and didn't want the translation to read (for example, in some routes I took the easy way out and just marked the sound effects that Swaneye likes to include as -SFX-. Later, I felt this was being to cheap, so I romanized the actual translations of the sound affects, hence the -jyu! jyu! jyu! jyu!- and other noises that Swaneye seems to think sex sounds like. I quickly decided that was too silly, so I just fell back to translating all the sound effects as what they were the sound affect of, which could give people an idea of what was going on and let their imagination do the rest, thus all the -Thrust! Thrust! Thrust!- of the later completed routes).I could go back and revise all of it, yet I do not feel the effort is necessary for this title when there is other work to be done that may be more interesting.

As for the accuracy and correctness of the translation its self, I did my best to keep it true to the content. By and large, the english script is exactly as it goes in the japanese script. I took the meanings the writing was meant to convey in Japanese and tried to envision them how we (or at least, how I) would say them in english, in real life. Rest assured, I am a native english speaker, so I do know how us Westerner's tend to speak. America wise, at least. If certain lines stand out as especially awkward or weird sounding, it is most likely less me being creative with the translation and more me being direct in the translation (for example, Saera's prose during the final sex scene between her and Kei on their wedding day. Yeah. I didn't make that up). As for all the spelling mistakes and occasional Japanese lines appearing with the text, Mamankyoushitsu has been a very long project, and some of the time, I just wanted the scene I was translating to end, so I cared less about spelling and more about getting it done and uploaded. What's worse, the entire translation was done using notepad, and since the script files include a lot of programming language for the kirikiri engine, I don't think I could just spell check through them without spellchecker highlighting every line of code as a mistake in spelling. What's worse, for the longest time the translation of Maman, HaraPara, HaraKano, and everything else was done on an old Intel thinkpad that not only is missing five keys, yet also likes to freeze at inopportune times. All the more reason for me to be less concerned on accuracy and more concerned about completing each patch before the hard drive failed. Loe quality is not only low in quality, yet also in funding. My apologies if this makes the patches especially hard to read. Especially for any english majors out there; my writing style is definitely more based on how people speak than on proper grammar, so it might be a bit hard to read (I hope, hope, hope, no reader follows prescriptionist grammar. They'll have a hard time).

For whether or not there will be an interface patch, I have completed a brief, low quality translation of some of the main menus, but they're not particularly necessary to have in order to play the game properly and may not be implemented anytime soon, as the patcher is busy as I said. Meanwhile, if you'd like to change the options, though the actual files are to tedious to bother editing directly in game, this image is a guide on which does what for Mamankyoushitsu:

http://imgur.com/5PNRb5W

Just be aware than once you complete a heroine's route, you unlock her character model viewer in the extras section. Once you 100% complete the game, you unlock the wallpaper creation mode for the character models, which can be fun to mess around with and also do not need an explanation. Experiment!

Thus said, I thank you all again for reading the LQT translation of Mamankyoushitsu/Harapara/small section of Harakano. Feel free to use the comment section of this post (or tweet LQT) with what parts you did or didn't like about the novel, the translation, the characters, etc. It's nice to see people appreciate the work. And critique it.

Thank you all,

Loe Quality

Mamankyoushitsu 100% English Patch

After much time and effort and irritation, the Mamankyoushitsu 100% english patch is DONE. This patch will translate the Common Route Honoka's Route, Saera's Route, Momo's Route, Emiko's Route, Mimeri's Route, the Harem end, and the Bad End of Mamankyoushitsu into english. Though some names and all menu buttons are as of yet untranslated, this will make the story of the game fully english. To get the patch, just download the link from the following:

Download:

https://www.mediafire.com/?s7gtxay5wj99swe

Once downloaded, extract all the contents of the patch.zip, and drag and drop them into the folder where Mamankyoushitsu is installed. OVERWRITE ALL FILES.

If you encounter and odd script error, try deleting the contents of the savedata folder, re-applying the english patch, then restarting the game.

If you encounter the error still (or if you get an error during certain scenes), uninstall and reinstall the game, then reapply the patch.

If further errors still occur, as always, post them here so that we may try to fix them.

I'd like to apologize for any and all spelling/script writing errors you may encounter over the course of this project. It was very dark when I wrote much of it, and by this time, I'd had quite enough of Swan's writing style.

Now that it's done, however, I'd like to thank everyone for being so patient with waiting for the different routes to be released, for putting up with my often unedited, unrevised translations, and my near constant procrastination of all parts of this project. I would also like to thank Bonzaimonkey for his providing of the script files and kirikiri patch in general, which made this entire project possible.

Meanwhile, as always, if you enjoyed this project and didn't mind my writing, donations are always helpful. However, Mamankyoushitsu is a freely provided translation of SwanEye+'s Mamankyoushitsu eroge game, and will remain as such.

Where do I go from here? We'll see, though hopefully away from the "something for everyone" brand of Nukige that makes up Swan's larger budget titles. There were many parts I was uncomfortable with, and many parts that I could barely believe what I was reading. Yes, indeed, hips were said to be moving on their own. For now though, Mamankyoushitsu is DONE. Thank you all again.

LoeQT.

Monday, April 28, 2014

Almost.

Mamankyoushitsu Common Route: 100% done.
Mamankyoushitsu Harem End: 100% done.
Mamankyoushitsu Momo Route: 20% done.

Momo's route will be the last of Mamankyoushitsu, and will be released alongside the Harem route. With luck, it will be done and completed by Friday. This will finish the Mamankyoushitsu Translation Project, with 100% translated into english. Unfortunately, the translation will remain unedited and unrevised (though undoubtedly, every route needs it) as this would take much more time and I feel most are fine with the current quality anyways. I make no promises where LQT will go from here, though I thank you all for your patience and your patronage of this project. BRB, Momo route translation.

My bad!

It has come to my attention that I made an error in constructing the HaraKano -100% translation patch. Rather than put the correct patch.xp3 file into the .zip archive (which makes the translation work), I put in... another copy of the .zip archive. I have corrected the mistake (I hope) thanks to a user pointing it out to me, and now you should be able to properly install the patch, for the actual -100% translation. Here's the link; just redownload the .zip, extract the 'patch' folder and patch.xp3 file, and move them into your HaraKano game folder. If only I had realized this sooner...

HaraKano -100% Translation Patch!

After hours and hours of innappropriate touching work, the HaraKano -100% translation patch is ready and released! If you have HaraKano installed on your pc, this translation patch is installed the same as any other: just download the patch.zip linked here and copy it into your HaraKano installation folder. This patch translates -100% of the HaraKano story into full english!

Download it here:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/c0jlltmrvh8wk11/patch.zip

If you do not have HaraKano installed, it is available from a number of places, including legal ones. Search and you may find.

I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Current progress

10 scenes left in Momo's route, five scenes left in the HArem route. This might be awhile. After that, possibly some translation of the buttons/images, but dunno.

Tweet her? I hardly know her!

Loe Quality Translations now has a twitter that I will most likely never use.

https://twitter.com/LoeQuality

Most of the few posts I bother making (if any) will be in Japanese and most likely not exist in the first place. This will still be the place to go to for updates on translation project news, though any other questions, comments, concerns can be posted there and maybe I can answer.

Speaking of news:

Mamankyoushitsu: Momo patch translation is now underway. And there is such a long way to go... But I've begun. So that, the Harem end, and a graphic translation are all left before the game should be 100% unedited english

HaraPara: Kukuri/Iinori Route 100% English Patch

Just in time for Valentine's... weekend, it the 100% English patch for the Harachuchu ROUTE of HaraPara! This ROUTE features characters and settings originally featured in the HaraChuchu VN by Swaneye, in particular Kukuri Dei Deruviruto and Iinori Shiina.

Download the patch (dropbox):
https://www.dropbox.com/s/f04ye6lr9gf11f9/patch.zip

Mirror 1 (google drive):
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_IGMMmG5IrTMnlQeDRETlVzaGc/ (Upper left corner - file - download. Or Ctrl+S)

To install, extract all contents of the Patch.zip, then drag them and drop them directly into HaraPara's folder, same as every patch for HaraPara and Mamankyoushitsu. If, when playing through the game or attempting to launch the game, you encounter a script error: CLOSE THE GAME.EXE, AND DELETE EVERY FILE IN THE SAVEDATA FOLDER. IT SUCKS, BUT DO IT ANYWAY. Then relaunch the game. This should make the game and its save system compatible with the patch.

Thanks again (and as always) to Bonzaimonkey for his creation of this patch (and the Mamankyoushitsu patch) which make these translations possible. I apologize for the wait, and for every spelling and grammatical error with the translations (every script is unedited as editing would take extensive time). Thanks everyone for your patience and continued support of LQT.

Though concerning support, if anyone would like to make a donation to the 'Get LQT a new External Harddrive' fund*, that would be rather appreciated. Not only are the current two I use rather full, they are also rather old. I fear the day I cannot get them to connect via usb anymore, and have to try and attempt to recover all the project files.

*Funds may also be used for the procural of chocolate. Be forewarned.

Happy Valentine's Day, all.

Not quite dead, no.

Three scenes left in Kukuri's route for HaraPara. Technically, it's the "Harachuchu" route, as the route contains branches for Kukuri and Iinori from Harachuchu (in addition to a scene with Mei). As for Mamankyoushitsu, I've done  bit with the harem end, and in theory a kind anon is workg on editing the script files for cleaner reading (IE no more Japanese text appearing because I forgot to enter a semicolon).

Regarding Script Errors

Hello all,

I've gotten a number of people reporting script exceptions/errors when they try to launch Mamankyoushitsu/reach certain scenes in Mamankyoushitsu. By and large, this is caused when the game encounters a change in the script files for each route (like a script file that was in Japanese suddenly is in English). There is only one way I've found to solve this problem, whenever it occurs:

1. Close any instance of the game that may be running with the task manager.

2. Go into the folder where Mamankyoushitsu is installed, and access the 'savedata' folder.

3. Delete these three files: 'data999.ksd', 'datasc.ksd', and 'datasu.ksd'

4. Restart the game.

This will erase all of your savedata for Mamankyoushitsu (you can skip text by holding ctrl to get back to where you were quickly), but will make it so that the game will use the translation patch for all translated text, provided the translation patch is properly installed. ALWAYS USE THE MOST RECENT TRANSLATION PATCH. THIS POINT IS MOOT BECAUSE I ALWAYS OVERWRITE THE OLD TRANSLATION PATCH WITH THE NEW ONE. ALWAYS RE-DOWNLOAD THE TRANSLATION PATCH AND PUT THE patch.xpc FILE AND patch FOLDER DIRECTLY INTO THE MAMANKYOUSHITSU FOLDER (when the game isn't running).

As some people have also had problems with getting the Bad End and not realizing it (my bad; I didn't translate it), I have updated the Translation patch with the Bad End. It triggers when you do not select the proper choices to enter any one heroine's route. Here you go:

If you install the patch and get a script exception or other error, see the above guide^

Further translation of Mamankyoushitsu is still on the shelf. Feels batman.

Maybe someone should post a guide or something to this game....
